San Vito

San VitoSan Vito was originally an Italian coffee farming settlement, and still retains its character as an agricultural center of the Southern Zone. With an ideal, cool climate and a bustling small town ambiance, those seeking a break from the heat and more touristy areas will enjoy the fresh mountain air. Nearby Wilson Botanical Gardens draws in loads of visitors and the Amistad National Park offers a trekkers paradise to explore.  There are also hot springs in the hills, though finding someone with directions to them can be a challenge!
